Before & After ~ Here are some of our makeovers...

Before: This dark and closed-in living space felt like 1970's architecture. This house was not in big demand...

Before: A bar with only one opening, and no way to serve drinks from it is not user friendly, so wallpaper was removed and this hole was cut in the wall...

Before: This dark and closed in kitchen was terribly outdated with its fir downs and wood paneling...

Before: Outdated wallpaper, fir downs, 1980's lighting, yellowed formica vanities with single sinks, and the tub surrounds were all outdated.

Before:This kitchen was terribly impractical, with no room for a full sized fridge or a clothes dryer anywhere in the house.

Before: This living room had hardwood floors that had been covered partly with cement board and tile...ughh!

Before: This outdated kitchen had 3 different kinds of cabinets. But even different types of hardware or appliances or too many disjointed colors, creates a chaotic hodgepodge appearance.

Before: Pepto Bismol pink bathrooms were in big demand in the 40's and 50's; not so much anymore, especially with mismatching tiles and this yellowed plastic sink.

Before: This modern fireplace installed in the early 90's was ready to be updated. The owners wanted a warmer and more elegant look. So all tile and the entire wood mantle were torn out...

Before: This 90's bathroom was very bland. Sometimes you need to know when to play it safe, and when to make bold changes.  A bathroom or kitchen makeover increases the value of your home more than most rooms, especially if you can bring in some wow factors.

Before, Above detail: Outdated lighting can bring down the value of your home. Wallpaper can sometimes add a lot, but avoid wallpaper or borders that appeal to only a limited market, as seen here.

Before: On a shoestring budget? How do you class up an area by spending almost nothing? Sometimes staging just requires changing the function of one area, to an entirely different function...

Before:
DON'T have clutter around, even in your closets. Prospective home buyers don't want to see this. Staging requires an absence of all junk piles, whether living in the home or not.

Before: How is your outer exterior yard and your curb appeal? There are many ways to make your landscape more colorful and appealing. This yard was nothing but dry dirt where no grass would grow.

After: The outdated wood paneling was removed, and more light was let in to really update this home! Our staging & art was the frosting on the cake.

After: Finished wet bar now has 2 serving areas with granite ledges and counter, upper wine racks with mood lighting, stools, and mini fridge.

After: Kitchen was opened to bring in more light, and shaker style, maple cabinets and drawers were added with granite and modern lighting.

After: Bathroom was overhauled with new vanity, double sinks, backsplashes, tub surrounds with niches, mirrors, faucets, shower heads, towel racks,  MCM lighting, toilets, handles and new tiled floors.

After: Adding a kitchen island gave it the much needed storage space so that some of the kitchen could be turned into a utility closet, thereby allowing room for a fridge and all necessary appliances, with modern updates.

After: The floors were rewoven, sanded, hand-scraped, stained and sealed. We then added new windows, a custom made Mid-century Modern door, and MCM staging with original works of fine art. Remodeling and staging helped it to appraise for over asking price.

After: We redesigned and updated this kitchen by using consistency and having clear visual contrast. Incorporating a real granite and marble island and counter top can be less expensive than you think.

After: We brought this bathroom up to date without gutting it, by only adding a granite sink, white walls, resurfacing the tiles, and using minimal staging. This allows the owner to add their own vivid colors and accents, yet still opens up the small space.

After: We replaced them with cherry wood, travertine, and genuine amethyst in the center to create a more modern yet old world custom mantle and fireplace, using quality natural materials that increased the home's value.

After: Using vivid colors that contrast and compliment each other with white ceilings can add dramatic flair, whether you decide on a contemporary or a more classic yet bold look like this one, using use real stone and exotic wood which remain classic and timeless.

After, Above detail: Always strive for a cohesive look, not just with colors, but the designs and shapes should also compliment each other.

After: We transformed this small kitchenette into a mini bar merely by staging it for another purpose. Getting creative can add value while saving you money.

After:
DO get rid of all clutter, only keeping what's truly needed. Not only will you avoid scaring off home buyers, but organizing and simplifying your environment gives you a new lease on life.

After: We created a lush and relaxing environment with plants, rocks and fish. We can look at your current yard to see what is possible for your budget. Whether it includes some type of water feature or other landscaping, we will work with you to beautify your yard, both front and back.
